Dr. Ladis is a Tanzanian who just graduated from the Jiangnan University with the School of Food Science and Technology, State Key Laboratory. He graduated with Doctorate of Philosophy in Food Science. He started his post graduate studied for the last seven years. He completed his masters in Food Science from the same university and continued to finish his PhD. This was also done with the same laboratory. He is a very committed professional. He finally dedicated his thesis to his parents and most importantly to his lovely wife and beautiful children he left behind in Tanzania to complete his graduate school.
He was farewell in a small and remarkable function organized by the Jiangnan Foreign students association. This association is called the JUFSA in initials. Concurrently, the Dr. Ladis was farewell by the Jiangnan University Foreign Students Christian Fellowship in the same fashion. During farewell poems were read and good things about Dr. Ladis were highlight for the new postgraduate students to grasps as good examples. They can dwell on this to achieve their objects. If Dr. Ladis who came this far and achieved it the new students can also do the same. If he can do it the new students can do it as well. This was the main message of the evening of celebration.
The student leaders also appreciated his contribution to the students association and looking forward to continue networking though his no longer a student but he is a graduate. The student leaders pointed out one very important thing is the discipline in your academic work. There should be more time given to all lectures and laboratories. Submit every single assignment and practical for assessment. The student leaders mentioned that dedication to every single piece of work to achieve your dream.
The students who study at this great university have seer determination to achieve what they have came for. You see most of the research students working throughout the night. The work is either experimental research in their respective laboratories or their work desks. The fruit of their labour is the graduation or the degree and the scrolls earned. The Tanzanian is no exception it is his work hard that has now earned him his PhD. Congratulations!
